My Beliefs on Beauty
I believe beauty is for every age. I don’t buy into the adage that beauty is only for the young. I’ve seen stunning 80 year olds and not so stunning 18 year olds.
Don’t rule yourself out just because you’ve hit a certain number.
Attractive is Attractive….there are no rules.
I believe there are no set makeup “rules” that work for every face…each face is unique and deserves its own unique makeup.
I believe the most beautiful makeup is one in which you feel completely yourself…only better.
I believe makeup should give you confidence in yourself, not create someone new.
I believe confidence is beautiful. Beauty comes with comfort in one’s own skin.
I believe a sense of humour is beautiful.
I believe that once mastered, the 5 minute face is better than any outfit a person can buy.
A little about me
I’ve been involved in the makeup/fashion/hair industry for the last 35 years.
I’ve been a hairstylist, international clothing buyer and makeup artist at different stages of my career.
I’ve been doing makeup now for the last 23 years. I’ve been blessed to have worked on models, authors, media personalities, singers, actors and people of all walks of life.
I’ve worked with designers, photographers, at fashion shows, weddings and even given lessons to seniors.
In 2004 I designed, opened and ran the largest makeup and esthetics school in Canada.
